2. Job Description
RICI Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. is offering a 6-month internship program for undergraduate students and fresh graduates in various engineering and computer science fields. The internship provides hands-on learning, exposure to real-world challenges, and a structured mentorship program. Interns who perform well may be offered a full-time job at the end of the internship period.
The goal of this internship is to help individuals transition smoothly from academic knowledge to industry-ready skillsets. You’ll be working with experienced professionals on actual projects that involve technical assessments, inspections, software development, or system design—depending on your department.
Open Internship Streams:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
Each internship stream is tailored to give interns practical exposure in their area of study:
For Computer Science / Computer Engineering Interns:
- Participate in software development tasks such as UI design, backend coding, and API integration
- Assist with database maintenance and system upgrades
- Work on internal tools and platforms used for inspection, audit, and data reporting
- Troubleshoot and debug minor bugs under the supervision of senior developers
- Gain exposure to modern programming frameworks and development methodologies
For Civil Engineering Interns:
- Assist site engineers in documentation, structural inspections, and report drafting
- Work on quality control, construction compliance, and load testing activities
- Support the inspection team with field surveys, CAD drawings, and photographic logs
- Learn how to interpret blueprints and assess construction site conditions
- Observe technical audits and compliance evaluations under certified professionals
For Mechanical Engineering Interns:
- Work on inspection tasks for industrial machinery, piping systems, and structural components

3. Eligibility Criteria
RICI’s internship program is designed for students and fresh graduates who are serious about building a long-term technical or engineering career. Candidates must be eager to learn, self-motivated, and ready to engage in structured training.
Academic Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in the final year or recently graduated in the following disciplines:
- BS Computer Science
- BS Computer Engineering
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- BS Civil Engineering
Experience Level:
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience
- Final year students can apply, provided they are available for a full-time internship during the 6-month period
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Strong academic foundation in your field of study
- Familiarity with basic tools used in your discipline (AutoCAD, programming languages, inspection tools, etc.)
- Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and ask questions when needed
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to take feedback
