2. Job Description
Spectrave (Pvt) Ltd is currently hiring for three positions across its energy and technology teams. Each role offers hands-on work, professional development, and the chance to be part of a mission-driven team.
1. Senior Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer – Lahore
The Senior O&M Engineer will take the lead in managing and optimizing solar power installations across industrial and commercial sites. This role involves system monitoring, performance audits, fault detection, maintenance scheduling, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site operations for solar installations
- Analyze performance data and flag anomalies
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot system faults, inverter issues, and communication breakdowns
- Coordinate with field teams and vendors
- Prepare performance reports and maintenance logs
- Ensure HSE protocols are followed on all sites
2. Junior Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer – Lahore
This is an entry-level role ideal for graduates in Electrical or Energy Engineering. The Junior O&M Engineer will assist in maintaining solar installations and learning the complete O&M lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monitoring and routine checks of PV systems
- Conduct site inspections and assist in troubleshooting
- Report any system alarms or hardware failures
- Maintain documentation and follow task checklists
- Collaborate with senior engineers and learn system diagnostics
- Work in field conditions under guidance and safety procedures
3. Frontend Developer – NASTP, Rawalpindi
As a Frontend Developer, you’ll join Spectrave’s tech team located at the National Science & Technology Park (NASTP) in Rawalpindi. You’ll help build modern interfaces for energy dashboards, web platforms, and internal tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)
- Convert UI/UX designs into interactive components
- Optimize applications for speed and performance
- Collaborate with backend developers and product managers
- Test and debug code to maintain high-quality standards
- Contribute to documentation and version control

3. Eligibility Criteria
Senior O&M Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Energy Engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in solar power O&M
- Familiarity with PV system components, inverters, data loggers, and monitoring portals
- Understanding of grid-tied solar systems and safety protocols
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
Junior O&M Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering (fresh graduates welcome)
- Familiarity with solar components and basic troubleshooting
- Willingness to work on-site in outdoor conditions
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of safety practices
Frontend Developer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework (React preferred)
- Ability to turn wireframes into functional interfaces
- Understanding of REST APIs and version control (Git)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Prior project experience or portfolio is a plus
