Now Hiring: BIM Manager/Coordinator at Be Energy (Caltex Pakistan Licensee)

Company Name: Be Energy (Licensee of Caltex Fuels in Pakistan)
Position Title: BIM Manager/Coordinator
Location: Head Office, Karachi
Industry: Oil & Gas / Energy / Infrastructure
Employment Type: Full-Time

In today’s rapidly evolving infrastructure and construction industry, digital design and coordination tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling) are at the heart of successful project delivery. One of Pakistan’s key players in the downstream oil and energy sector, Be Energy, is now seeking to onboard a BIM Manager/Coordinator for its Karachi-based Head Office.

Be Energy, formerly known as Bakri Energy, is the official licensee for the Caltex Fuels business in Pakistan. The company plays an essential role in fueling the country’s progress through reliable fuel distribution, modern retail outlets, and service stations. With a strong network across the country, Be Energy continues to invest in innovation and operational excellence, aiming to improve both customer experience and internal technical capabilities. As the energy landscape transforms, Be Energy is aligning itself with global best practices—bringing digital workflows, smart engineering, and BIM integration into its project planning and execution.

The organization believes in building a team of highly capable professionals who are equipped not only with technical knowledge but also with forward-thinking and process-driven mindsets. Working at Be Energy means contributing to large-scale, real-world projects that make a difference—whether it’s in fueling logistics, retail infrastructure, or oil terminal operations.

To meet the increasing demand for digital coordination and smarter project delivery, Be Energy is hiring a BIM Manager/Coordinator. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to lead BIM deployment across multiple engineering disciplines and infrastructure projects, helping standardize processes and ensure smooth project execution. If you’re someone who thrives in cross-functional roles and enjoys leading digital transformation in engineering, this role could be an excellent fit for you.

Job Description: Responsibilities and Duties

As a BIM Manager/Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and execution of BIM standards and practices across ongoing and future Be Energy infrastructure projects. Your daily responsibilities will require both strategic planning and hands-on involvement in modeling, coordination, and digital project reviews.

Here’s what the role includes:

  • Standard Development: Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards and workflows that align with global protocols such as ISO 19650, COBie, and Uniclass.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee BIM deployment across project teams to ensure a uniform approach is applied. Coordinate all disciplines, including MEP, architectural, and structural models, ensuring each complies with project and discipline-specific standards.
  • Model Management: Lead the creation and maintenance of 3D models, including model federation, clash detection, digital QA/QC, and data verification. Ensure models are compliant with the BEP (BIM Execution Plan).
  • BIM Execution Planning: Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans specific to project types, scale, and delivery deadlines. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with these plans throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • 4D/5D Integration: Promote and implement 4D (time-based) and 5D (cost-based) modeling, integrating construction sequencing and estimation within the digital environment.
  • Common Data Environment (CDE): Manage the centralized data systems using platforms like Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, ensuring secure, accessible, and structured communication between stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency: Work with tools like Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and MS Office. Manage interoperability between different software platforms for efficient project delivery.
  • Mentorship and Training: Lead and mentor internal teams including draftsmen, modelers, and junior engineers. Deliver training workshops to strengthen in-house BIM capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with external consultants, clients, and contractors. Represent the company in project coordination meetings and ensure the digital design aligns with contractual goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure model accuracy through thorough checks, clash reports, and scheduled audits. Implement structured feedback systems to continually improve BIM processes.

Your work will be critical in bringing consistency, efficiency, and higher quality to Be Energy’s engineering projects.
