Currently, Haleon Pakistan is looking to recruit a Project Trainee – Engineering at its facility in Jamshoro, Sindh. This role is tailor-made for fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to make a real difference in the world of health manufacturing. The Project Trainee position offers hands-on training, exposure to modern engineering practices, and the opportunity to be part of a large-scale manufacturing project.
If you are an aspiring engineer who’s ready to work in an environment that is intellectually stimulating, values-driven, and globally relevant—this is your chance to begin that journey with Haleon.
Job Description
The Project Trainee – Engineering role at Haleon is a structured entry-level opportunity designed to provide real-world experience to aspiring engineers. Based at the company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Jamshoro, this position will immerse you in the operational, mechanical, and safety aspects of one of Haleon’s most significant initiatives—The Hawaii Project, which includes installation and commissioning of cutting-edge compression and manufacturing equipment.
From the start, you will be embedded in an actual, live industrial engineering project. This isn’t a routine internship—it’s a chance to contribute to the deployment of next-generation production systems. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will be responsible for a diverse set of tasks that require technical acumen, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
One of your initial responsibilities will include developing qualification documents and participating in validation and qualification activities related to new equipment. You will learn to understand standard operating procedures (SOPs), create operational documentation, and ensure that these documents comply with both Haleon’s internal standards and international industry benchmarks.
You will actively participate in the commissioning and installation phases of the Hawaii Project. These phases involve unpacking, assembling, integrating, and configuring high-end manufacturing machinery. Working alongside engineers and technicians, you’ll see first-hand how machines go from shipment crates to fully functional units on the production floor.
A major part of your training will also include working on Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and calibration activities. You will study equipment manuals, extract operational and maintenance instructions, and help integrate these into Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Learning how to ensure continuous production without breakdowns is a critical industrial skill, and this role ensures you develop that capability early in your career.
Safety is paramount at Haleon, and you will be responsible for preparing Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) documentation. This includes machine safety risk assessments, workplace risk assessments, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and developing Operational Standard Workflows. You’ll get a first-hand look at how global companies prioritize worker safety and equipment reliability.
Beyond documentation and safety compliance, you will contribute to training programs. You’ll help prepare training content and possibly even deliver technical training sessions to new staff on the Hawaii Project equipment. These sessions are designed to ensure that all team members can operate and maintain equipment correctly and safely.
You’ll also get involved in the execution of maintenance and calibration programs—gaining exposure to the tools, timelines, and techniques required to keep production machines running efficiently. This includes assisting in equipment calibration schedules, identifying fault-prone components, and helping ensure that systems meet production and safety KPIs.
An exciting aspect of the job will be developing critical spare parts lists. You will read machine manuals, assess the criticality of components, and work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure that necessary parts are available for uninterrupted operations. This requires analytical thinking and understanding the business impact of equipment downtime.
Throughout this program, you will have access to mentorship, receive regular feedback, and gain clarity on how your role connects to broader business goals. The Project Trainee – Engineering role is a launching pad that opens doors to full-time engineering roles in production, quality assurance, EHS, or maintenance management at Haleon.

The ideal candidate should exhibit:
- Eagerness to learn industrial systems
- Passion for health, safety, and sustainability
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Respect for workplace diversity and ethics
- Ability to work in both structured and flexible environments
