In today’s fast-moving professional world, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations has become more important than ever. Recognizing this need, DWP Group, a prominent name in Pakistan’s technology and business solutions sector, has taken a meaningful step forward with its Tameer-e-Mustaqbil Internship Program.

Based in the heart of Lahore’s Gulberg district, DWP Group has consistently been known for its commitment to innovation, excellence, and the development of local talent. From technology infrastructure and power solutions to consumer electronics and professional services, the company has played a significant role in transforming industries across Pakistan.

But DWP’s real strength lies in its people—and in how the organization cultivates them.

With a clear focus on investing in young graduates, the company is now offering a unique three-month paid internship opportunity for fresh graduates in key departments, including Engineering, Human Resources, and IT. Titled “Tameer-e-Mustaqbil”, which translates to “Building the Future,” this internship is more than a temporary placement—it’s an experience designed to launch professional careers.

Interns selected for this program will be exposed to real projects, industry tools, mentorship, and decision-making environments that are rarely offered in typical internships. The idea is not just to train but to empower. Participants will leave with technical skills, professional insights, and the confidence to step into the workforce as capable, job-ready individuals.

At DWP, internships aren’t about making coffee or sitting idle—they’re about getting involved, getting challenged, and getting better. That’s what makes Tameer-e-Mustaqbil a standout opportunity for recent graduates in Pakistan looking to begin their professional journey with clarity and purpose.

If you’ve just completed your degree in Engineering, Human Resources, or Information Technology, and you’re looking for hands-on, paid work experience in a modern office setting, this internship might be the best first step you can take.

Let’s take a closer look at what the program offers, what you’ll do, who can apply, and how you can submit your application.

Job Description

The Tameer-e-Mustaqbil Internship Program is a full-time, 3-month paid internship designed to equip fresh graduates with the tools and experience needed to succeed in real-world business environments. This internship is based at DWP Group’s Gulberg office in Lahore, operating on standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Interns will be placed in one of the following key departments based on their academic background and organizational needs:

Human Resources (HR)

Interns in HR will get exposure to the full spectrum of human capital functions. From recruitment and onboarding to policy support and performance tracking, you’ll gain firsthand insight into how people strategy shapes business success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with CV shortlisting and interview coordination
  • Supporting employee onboarding and documentation
  • Updating HRIS records and preparing staff reports
  • Helping organize training sessions and engagement events
  • Learning compliance and policy frameworks in a real HR setup

You’ll be mentored by experienced HR professionals who will guide you on how to manage sensitive employee data, communicate professionally, and handle real-world scenarios with discretion.

Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering

Engineering interns will join ongoing technical support or project planning units, contributing to product support, installation schedules, maintenance logs, or research tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project engineers in technical documentation

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting internal users with helpdesk functions
  • Monitoring system performance and reporting irregularities
  • Assisting in configuring network devices, backup systems, or software upgrades
  • Participating in small-scale development, testing, or UI improvement projects

This track offers a great opportunity for IT graduates to understand how enterprise-level networks and systems are maintained in a modern business setting.

Program Structure and Support

Unlike informal internships, this program is structured with clear expectations, defined roles, and weekly progress monitoring. Interns will:

  • Be assigned to a supervisor/mentor
  • Receive task lists and project goals
  • Join team meetings and planning discussions
  • Submit weekly reports and a final presentation at the end of the internship

There will be no idle days. Each intern will have a defined purpose in the team and will be expected to add value while learning.

At the end of the program, selected interns may be considered for long-term employment opportunities at DWP, depending on performance and departmental availability.
