Ltd. is currently looking to hire a Supply Chain Executive who can add value to its logistics and dispatch framework.
Job Description
The Supply Chain Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of TPL’s inventory and dispatch systems. This position requires a dynamic individual with an analytical mindset who can coordinate across various departments and ensure the smooth flow of goods—from raw materials to finished products—while maintaining a high level of accuracy and operational integrity.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for executing and monitoring dispatch schedules, maintaining optimum stock levels, and ensuring seamless coordination between the store, production, and sales departments. The Supply Chain Executive is expected to serve as the central point of contact for all logistical matters within their assigned domain.
Working closely with the production and warehouse teams, the executive will be expected to evaluate stock movements, flag anomalies, and create real-time solutions to avoid delays. From overseeing physical stock reconciliation to updating stock ledgers, the Supply Chain Executive will be tasked with ensuring that inventory data is not just current but also precise.
One of the key expectations from the role is the ability to manage raw material and finished goods inventories. This includes ensuring that the raw materials required for production are always available in the right quantities and that finished goods are ready for dispatch as per sales orders.
The role also includes coordinating with delivery partners and logistics personnel to execute timely dispatches, tracking shipments, and resolving any delays or logistical bottlenecks. The executive will need to prepare dispatch documentation, update relevant ERP systems like TallyPrime, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure orders are processed without disruption.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily dispatch activities and monitor all outbound deliveries.
- Maintain real-time inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Coordinate between store, production, and sales departments to align dispatch schedules.
- Monitor stock inflow and outflow, conduct physical stock checks, and ensure system alignment.
- Prepare and maintain dispatch-related documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and stock reports.
- Liaise with logistics partners for vehicle availability, tracking, and timely delivery of goods.
- Use ERP software (TallyPrime or similar) to update inventory records and monitor performance metrics.
- Highlight and resolve delays, bottlenecks, or system gaps within the dispatch cycle.
- Support production planning by providing insights on material availability and lead times.
- Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports to support the supply chain department.
- Ensure compliance with internal protocols and regulatory standards during inventory handling and dispatch.
The Supply Chain Executive will report to the Supply Chain or Operations Manager and is expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet internal and customer-focused KPIs.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Supply Chain Executive role at TPL Pvt. Ltd., applicants must meet the following criteria in terms of education, experience, skills, and personal attributes:
Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Candidates with additional certifications in supply chain (e.g., APICS, SCPro, CILT) will have an advantage.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, inventory management, dispatch operations, or logistics coordination.
- Candidates with experience in fast-paced environments, such as manufacturing or distribution, will be preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong command over Microsoft Excel—must be proficient in creating spreadsheets, using formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems, especially TallyPrime, is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain software or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
Functional Knowledge:
- Familiarity with dispatch and delivery coordination, including vehicle scheduling, shipment tracking, and coordination with 3PL vendors.
- Experience in raw material and finished goods inventory management—should be capable of maintaining minimum stock levels and managing reordering schedules.
- Understanding of production scheduling and its impact on supply chain planning.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and support regular audits.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be comfortable communicating with vendors, internal departments, and third-party logistics providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Organizational Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily operations without losing attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records, logs, and scheduling files.
- Capacity to work independently while following company SOPs and compliance protocols.
