Job Description
GASCO Engineering is currently accepting applications for three key positions: Planning Engineer, Project Engineer, and Proposal Coordinator. Each of these roles plays a vital part in the lifecycle of engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and client communication.
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and updating project schedules using industry-standard tools such as Primavera or MS Project. Your role includes working closely with project managers to develop baseline schedules, track progress, and update stakeholders on timelines, resource allocation, and risks. You will generate reports such as S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and earned value analysis. Planning Engineers also conduct site visits to validate the accuracy of reported progress and suggest recovery plans where necessary.
As a Project Engineer, your role will span project execution, coordination, and technical oversight. You’ll manage project timelines, interact with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Project Engineers also liaise with QA/QC departments to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, materials specifications, and safety standards. You’ll work on a variety of projects, which may include piping systems, structural installations, instrumentation layouts, or mechanical systems. Leadership and team management skills will be essential, as you will often oversee junior engineers and technicians in the field.
As a Proposal Coordinator, you will be involved in pre-sales activities and client engagement. This includes preparing technical and commercial proposals, understanding the scope of work, analyzing tender documents, and collaborating with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to create competitive bids. You will also maintain a database of pricing, vendor quotes, and completed tenders. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tight deadlines. Eligibility Criteria

For the Project Engineer position, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering disciplines. A minimum of 2 years of field or site-based project experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with project execution cycles, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, managing construction schedules, and coordinating with site teams will be considered a key asset. Project Engineers must be physically fit, willing to work in the field, and capable of handling the dynamic environment of large-scale industrial projects.
For the Proposal Coordinator role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in bid preparation, proposal coordination, or technical sales is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to analyze technical documents and extract relevant data.
