Job Offering Company Introduction

Wafi Energy is a recognized name in the energy and lubricants sector, operating with a focus on delivering quality products and services across multiple industries. As part of its operations in Pakistan, the company has steadily expanded its presence in the business-to-business (B2B) lubricants market, offering advanced solutions for power generation, industrial processes, textiles, and mechanical maintenance. By combining technical expertise with customer-focused service, Wafi Energy has built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and strong client relationships.

The company is driven by a commitment to meet the evolving needs of its customers by introducing superior lubricants designed to enhance machine performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency. In industries where equipment reliability is vital, having the right lubricants supported by technical services makes a significant difference. Wafi Energy positions itself not only as a supplier but also as a technical partner to its customers, ensuring that every solution is tailored to specific operational requirements.

In Pakistan, the company has developed a team of skilled professionals who specialize in both technical support and business development. This dual focus allows Wafi Energy to strengthen its relationships with existing clients while also identifying new opportunities to expand its reach. Technical Officers, in particular, play an essential role in providing on-site services, supporting customer operations, and ensuring the company remains a trusted name in the competitive lubricants market.

By joining Wafi Energy, professionals become part of an organization that values growth, professional development, and technical innovation. The company provides a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to take initiative, develop expertise, and contribute directly to customer satisfaction. The current opening for a Lubricants Technical Officer is an opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding role that blends technical service, fieldwork, and customer engagement.

Job Description

The role of Lubricants Technical Officer is designed for individuals who can combine engineering knowledge with practical problem-solving in the field. The primary responsibility is to provide on-site technical services and solutions to customers using lubricants in various industrial applications. This involves understanding customer requirements, analyzing their operational setups, and recommending appropriate products and practices to maximize performance.

On a daily basis, the Technical Officer will be expected to visit customer sites across Punjab, often traveling to power plants, industrial facilities, textile mills, and mechanical workshops. During these visits, the officer will conduct technical assessments, perform lubricant analysis, and provide troubleshooting where necessary. This proactive support not only strengthens customer trust but also ensures that equipment operates at its best with reduced wear and downtime.

In addition to technical services, the Technical Officer will play an active role in identifying new opportunities for the business. This may include recognizing potential clients, suggesting solutions for emerging needs, and working closely with the Technical Manager to design strategies for business growth. By linking technical expertise with business development, the officer contributes directly to the expansion of Wafi Energy’s lubricants portfolio.

Documentation and reporting form another important aspect of the job. The Technical Officer will be required to maintain detailed records of site visits, prepare reports on findings, and share recommendations with both the client and the internal team. This ensures that service quality is maintained and that future improvements are based on accurate information.

The position also demands strong teamwork, as the Technical Officer will work under the guidance of the Technical Manager and collaborate with sales and operations teams. This collaboration ensures that customer requirements are met comprehensively, with the right balance of technical solutions and business support.

Overall, the job is well-suited to individuals who enjoy fieldwork, problem-solving, and direct customer interaction. It provides exposure to a wide range of industrial environments, offering valuable professional experience in addition to contributing to the company’s goals.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Lubricants Technical Officer role, candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. The role is targeted at early-career professionals, and applicants with 1–2 years of relevant experience will be preferred. Suitable backgrounds include work in power generation, mechanical maintenance, plant operations, or the process and textile industry.

Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and lubricants will be an advantage, along with the ability to apply engineering principles in practical, real-world situations. Since the role involves troubleshooting and performance analysis, candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication is also a key requirement. The Technical Officer will often be the first point of contact for clients in the field, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly and provide solutions in a professional manner is essential. Interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to build strong client relationships will be important assets.

As the job involves frequent travel across Punjab, candidates should be comfortable working in the field and managing schedules that require mobility. A valid driving license will be beneficial, given the extensive travel requirements.

Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, and willing to take initiative. While previous fieldwork experience is valued, fresh graduates with internships or project exposure in relevant industries are also encouraged to apply if they meet the basic qualifications.

Location

The position is based in Lahore, but it requires regular travel across Punjab to visit customer sites.

Last Date

The deadline to apply is 31st August 2025.
