Job Description
Descon Engineering Limited is currently hiring Piping Engineers for its operations in Lahore and Karachi. The role is full-time and on-site, offering candidates the chance to work directly on industrial piping projects in the Oil & Gas sector. Piping Engineers play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and supervising the installation of piping systems that transport fluids, gases, and chemicals across industrial plants. Their work ensures safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Layout: Prepare piping layouts, schematics, and designs in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Stress Analysis: Conduct stress analysis for piping systems to ensure reliability under varying temperatures, pressures, and operational conditions.
- Compliance: Ensure that all piping systems meet industry codes such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
- Coordination: Work closely with project engineers, mechanical engineers, and construction teams to ensure smooth installation and operation.
- Inspection & Testing: Review and supervise installation quality, conduct inspections, and verify that systems function correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and quality checks for project audits and compliance.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical challenges during the design and installation phases and implement solutions effectively.
- Client Interaction: Participate in meetings with clients, present technical solutions, and address engineering queries professionally.
