Job Description
The position of Senior Application & Proposal Engineer (Automation & Analytical) at Nextreme Techno Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. is a senior-level role that requires both technical expertise and business acumen. This is not an entry-level role but one designed for professionals who have spent at least five years in automation, process control, or analytical solutions and who now wish to take on greater responsibility in technical leadership and client engagement.
The role involves preparing and managing proposals for industrial automation and analytical projects. This includes understanding client requirements, designing technical solutions, estimating costs, and preparing professional proposals that align with both client expectations and company standards. The Senior Engineer will serve as a bridge between technical teams, management, and clients, ensuring that proposals are technically sound, financially viable, and aligned with project timelines.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with clients to understand their technical and operational requirements.
- Designing and selecting automation and analytical systems suitable for client applications, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and process analyzers.
- Preparing cost estimates, technical specifications, and detailed project proposals.
- Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to gather technical and financial data.
- Reviewing and analyzing bid documents, technical drawings, and client specifications.
- Participating in technical presentations, client meetings, and negotiations.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client policies when designing solutions.
- Managing documentation for proposals, including Bill of Materials (BOM), datasheets, compliance checklists, and scope of work.
- Supporting the sales and business development teams by providing technical input and ensuring proposals highlight value-driven solutions.
Since this is a senior role, the position also includes mentoring junior engineers, guiding proposal preparation processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of proposal standards at Nextreme.

Eligibility Criteria

- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering is required. Advanced certifications in automation, process control, or project management will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial automation, process control, or analytical instrumentation is mandatory. Candidates with experience in both domains will be preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networks.
- Familiarity with analytical equipment used in process industries such as gas analyzers, liquid analyzers, spectrophotometers, and related technologies.

- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, ISO, API, and NEC related to automation and instrumentation.
