Job Description
The position of Assistant Manager Technical (Mechatronics) at Joyland Lahore is a leadership role that requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for engineering innovation. The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the technical infrastructure of Joyland’s rides, machinery, and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select, and procure technical components including motors, sensors, PLCs, controllers, and drives.
- Ensure compatibility and integration of electrical, mechanical, and control systems across various rides and equipment.
- Design and implement advanced control algorithms such as PID, fuzzy logic, and adaptive control for enhanced system performance.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi systems.
- Work with microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32) for customized automation solutions.
- Develop and integrate SCADA/HMI systems with real-time monitoring capabilities.
- Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to international safety standards.
- Explore emerging technologies in robotics, IoT, and industrial automation to enhance Joyland’s offerings.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to bring innovative solutions for cost savings and process efficiency.
This role requires a mix of technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where safety and reliability are paramount.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the role of Assistant Manager Technical (Mechatronics), candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 4–5 years of professional experience in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or product development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong command of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix, Mitsubishi).
- Proficiency in microcontroller programming (C/C++, Python).
- Experience with SCADA/HMI integration and industrial control systems.
- Professional Qualities:
