Job Description
The Internal Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in managing Glensol’s procurement and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor selection, purchase orders, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues proactively, and maintain relationships to guarantee timely delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify procurement needs and optimize cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information for reporting, audits, and analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports, track budgets, and assist management in procurement planning and strategy development.
This role requires a proactive, organized, and analytical professional capable of managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously. The candidate will work closely with various internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in procurement or supply chain operations, preferably within the energy or industrial sector.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, manage vendors, and support internal teams.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Azerbaijani; Russian is considered an asset.
