Job Description

The Calibration Engineer at Indegrity plays a crucial role in ensuring that measuring instruments, systems, and devices perform accurately and consistently according to international standards. This position requires technical knowledge, hands-on expertise, and attention to detail to carry out calibration activities in both laboratory and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration of electrical, mechanical, and process instruments in compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain, adjust, and document calibration results for all instruments within the assigned scope.
  • Identify and troubleshoot calibration discrepancies or instrument faults and propose corrective measures.
  • Prepare calibration certificates, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all calibration procedures are conducted under controlled environmental and safety conditions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and recommend optimal calibration solutions.
  • Support periodic audits and ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of calibration methods, tools, and documentation practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and standards in calibration and measurement science.
  • Maintain accurate records of instruments, equipment, and spare parts used in calibration processes.
  • Coordinate with quality and technical departments to ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience:

  • Exposure to standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, GMP, or ISO 9001 will be considered an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of measurement principles and uncertainty calculations.
  • Experience with calibration of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, transmitters, multimeters, flow meters, and torque tools.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation systems, control loops, and data acquisition systems.
