Job Description
This hiring campaign includes multiple roles within the Electrical, E&I, and Substation disciplines. The selected candidates will be deployed on a major project where reliability, safety, and technical accuracy are critical.
Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and providing technical oversight of substation works. The role includes reviewing electrical designs, coordinating with construction teams, supervising installation activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards. The engineer will work closely with clients, contractors, and QA/QC teams to ensure the timely and safe delivery of the substation systems.
Substation Supervisor
The Substation Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site activities related to substation construction, installation, and testing. This role requires strong site coordination skills, workforce supervision, and adherence to safety procedures. The supervisor will ensure that work is executed in accordance with drawings, method statements, and approved schedules.
E&I Senior Electrical Engineer
The E&I Senior Electrical Engineer will manage electrical and instrumentation activities across the project. Responsibilities include coordinating instrumentation installation, cable routing, termination, testing, and commissioning activities. The role requires a strong understanding of control systems, field instrumentation, and integration with electrical systems.
E&I Supervisor
The E&I Supervisor will manage technicians and foremen engaged in electrical and instrumentation installation works. The role focuses on productivity, safety, quality control, and coordination with engineering teams. Daily reporting and progress tracking are part of the responsibility.
Cathodic Protection Electrical Engineer
The Cathodic Protection Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design review, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning of cathodic protection systems. The role involves working with pipelines, buried structures, and electrical protection systems to prevent corrosion and extend asset life.
Construction Manager – Electrical Department
The Construction Manager will oversee all electrical construction activities across the project. This role includes planning, manpower management, contractor coordination, schedule control, and reporting to senior management. Strong leadership and decision-making skills are essential, as this role carries overall responsibility for electrical execution.
Across all roles, candidates will be required to follow project HSE standards, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure documentation accuracy, and support commissioning and handover activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following general criteria.
Applicants must have proven experience in electrical, E&I, or substation projects, preferably in large-scale industrial, power, or infrastructure projects. Experienceinn EPC or construction projects will be considered a strong advantage.
Engineering roles require a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline. Supervisory roles may accept diploma holders with strong practical experience. Construction Manager roles require extensive field experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Candidates must have hands-on knowledge of electrical installations, substation equipment, protection systems, instrumentation, testing, and commissioning activities relevant to their role.
A strong understanding of safety regulations, method statements, work permits, and quality standards is mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable working in demanding site environments and meeting project deadlines.
