Job Description – Assistant Manager, Finance
Transsion Tecno Electronics (Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Assistant Manager of Finance to join its finance team. This role is ideal for part-qualified finance professionals who have completed their articleship and possess hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, practical tax handling experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager of Finance will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with IAS / AFRS
- Record, verify, and post transactions in the General Ledger
- Process daily financial entries, including payroll journals
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide accurate cost data for departmental and management review
- Supervise and review vouchers within the ERP system
- Use advanced MS Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliation
- Support Sales Tax and Income Tax matters with practical handling
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for accounts finalisation
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of multiple financial tasks
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Qualification
- CA Inter / ACCA / ICMA (Part-Qualified) or equivalent
- Completed articleship from a reputable firm
Experience
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in:
- Accounting
- Financial reporting
- Audit support
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (IAS / AFRS)
- Practical knowledge of taxation (Sales Tax & Income Tax)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience working with ERP systems
- close attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure efficiently
