Job Description
Popular Group is hiring a Trainee Mechanical Engineer for its manufacturing operations located in Nooriabad. This position is designed for early-career engineers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing and packaging operations.
The Trainee Mechanical Engineer will work closely with senior engineers, supervisors, and production teams to support daily mechanical operations within the plant. The role involves assisting in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical systems used in packaging and manufacturing processes.
One of the key responsibilities of this role is to support routine maintenance activities. This includes observing preventive maintenance schedules, assisting in troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that equipment is operating within defined parameters. The trainee will learn how mechanical systems behave under continuous production conditions and how to respond to breakdown situations effectively.
The role also involves participation in production monitoring. The Trainee Mechanical Engineer will help track machine performance, identify minor inefficiencies, and report observations to senior staff. Over time, the trainee will gain exposure to production planning, process flow, and coordination between maintenance and production departments.
