Job Description
The Assistant Manager Electrical (Utilities) will be responsible for managing and maintaining all electrical systems within the Denim Division’s production facilities. This role is critical in ensuring continuous plant operations and includes responsibilities in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance Management: Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of all electrical utilities in the plant. Ensure reliable power supply and minimize downtime.
- Automation Oversight: Manage and maintain PLC and SCADA systems to ensure smooth operation of production lines and utility systems. Update and optimize program logic as needed.
- Utilities Management: Oversee electrical systems associated with boilers, thermal heaters, air compressors, and other critical plant utilities. Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Solar Operations & Maintenance: Supervise the operation and maintenance of solar energy systems integrated into the facility’s power infrastructure. Optimize performance and reduce reliance on conventional power sources.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose electrical faults, implement solutions, and prevent recurrence of issues. Analyze recurring problems and implement long-term corrective measures.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, electrical system performance, and corrective actions. Ensure documentation is accurate and easily retrievable for future reference.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and manage the electrical team to ensure high levels of performance, safety, and technical competency. Conduct training sessions and develop skill enhancement programs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industrial safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in electrical and automation management.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and optimize electrical infrastructure for better productivity.

Eligibility Criteria
