Job Description
The role of Assistant Manager – Instrument & Electrical is central to ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and achieving production targets. The position carries wide-ranging responsibilities that cover safety, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, project execution, and coordination with multiple departments.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the safety and reliability of all instruments and electrical equipment across the plant. This includes PLC, DCS, ESD systems, and machinery such as turbines, boilers, chillers, compressors, blowers, solar systems, and engines. The candidate will be required to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
In addition, the position involves creating detailed maintenance plans and ensuring their timely implementation. Managing spare parts, conducting root cause analysis of equipment failures, and preventing accidents will form a major part of the role.
