Job Description
The Assistant Manager – PPC Planning & Production Control Sewing will be responsible for supporting production planning activities with a focus on sewing operations. The role involves coordinating between planning, production, and other supporting departments to ensure the smooth execution of confirmed production orders.
The selected candidate will work closely with production heads to assess available capacities and align production schedules accordingly. This includes monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly sewing plans and ensuring that actual output remains aligned with approved plans. Any production deviations or delays must be identified early and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
The role requires close follow-up on confirmed purchase orders, ensuring timely execution and closure of orders within agreed timelines. The Assistant Manager PPC will support tracking of order status, line loading, and production efficiency across sewing lines.
Regular coordination with merchandising, cutting, quality, and finishing departments will be required to ensure uninterrupted workflow. The role also includes preparing planning reports, analyzing production data, and highlighting potential bottlenecks in advance.
The candidate will be expected to support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, capacity utilization, and delivery performance. Maintaining accurate production records and contributing to planning meetings will be part of routine responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Assistant Manager – PPC position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Graduates with relevant academic exposure to planning, operations, or manufacturing systems will be preferred.
Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in planning and production control within a knitwear or garment manufacturing setup. Hands-on exposure to sewing, floor planning, and capacity management is essential for this role.
Candidates must have a clear understanding of production planning processes, order tracking, and basic capacity utilization concepts. The ability to coordinate with multiple departments and communicate production requirements clearly is critical.
