Job Description

The Assistant Manager Procurement position at Bestway Cement Limited is designed for professionals who can effectively manage the purchasing process and ensure smooth operations across all plants. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the uninterrupted supply of Mechanical, Civil, Administration, and Marketing-related items for all plants under the Bestway Cement network. The successful candidate will handle the complete procurement cycle—from reviewing purchase requirements to supplier negotiations, order processing, and delivery follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing comparative statements prepared for procurement and completing all necessary steps for management approval.
  • Preparing, issuing, and dispatching purchase orders (POs) to approved suppliers in line with company procedures.
  • Following up with suppliers for material deliveries to ensure the timely receipt of goods.
  • Coordinating with the plant and finance departments to resolve any issues arising after dispatch, including payment clarifications or delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate transparent and efficient procurement operations.
