Job Description

The Automation Engineer (RCM) at Roshan Packages Limited will work in the Maintenance Electrical Department, playing a key role in maintaining and optimizing automation systems. The position focuses on programming, maintaining, and updating PLCs and drive systems, ensuring their reliable operation in a production environment.

Key responsibilities include programming and maintaining PLCs from manufacturers such as Lenze, Allen Bradley, and Siemens. The engineer will manage drive backups, update records for both PLCs and Lenze drives, and ensure proper documentation for all automation systems. Accurate record-keeping is crucial to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational efficiency.

The role also involves inventory management of electrical parts and spares. The engineer will track and maintain stock levels, ensuring that critical components are readily available for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This proactive approach helps minimize downtime and maintain consistent production performance.

Supporting preventive and predictive maintenance is another core responsibility.
