INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking an experienced Back End Developer (Nest.js) to join its growing Industrial Intelligence team. This position plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance backend systems that power real-time monitoring, data analytics, and automation platforms used by industrial clients globally.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineers, front-end developers, and data scientists to build scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with field operations, asset management systems, and AI-driven industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy robust Node.js and Nest.js applications, services, and APIs.
Design and implement new backend features aligned with project requirements and technical specifications.
Manage and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Build microservices and modular backend systems integrated with various industrial data sources.
Collaborate with front-end teams to align API structures with UI functionality.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend performance or integration issues.
Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, testing, and version control.
Contribute to architecture discussions, system design decisions, and code reviews.
Optimize backend applications for performance, reliability, and data consistency.
Participate in full-cycle software development — from concept to deployment and maintenance.

This role offers the opportunity to lead backend development efforts for complex industrial digitalization projects that combine automation, IoT, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
At least 2 years of experience using Nest.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Prior experience in leadership, mentorship, or team coordination roles is preferred.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong understanding of Node.js frameworks (Nest.js, Express).
Expertise in building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is an advantage.
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and asynchronous programming.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployment.
Familiarity with Next.js and full-stack collaboration.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures is a plus.
Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control.
