Job Description
The Civil Structural Engineer at Velosi will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering designs for a variety of energy and infrastructure projects. The primary responsibility is to produce detailed design documentation that meets the required standards, ensuring structures are robust, reliable, and compliant with both international and local codes.
Key tasks will include preparing project specifications, developing design reports, and performing calculations using LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design) and ASD (Allowable Stress Design) methods. The role requires proficiency in using advanced structural design software such as STAAD Pro and ETABS, enabling accurate modeling and analysis of complex structures.
A major aspect of the position is designing structural steel elements, including pipe racks, shelters, and platforms, along with their associated connections, base plates, and foundations. The engineer will also design concrete structures, such as substation buildings, pits, and other civil works necessary for industrial facilities. These designs will often involve equipment foundations, requiring close coordination with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure compatibility and performance.
The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting design reviews and verifications to uphold the integrity of engineering deliverables.
