Job Description

The Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing costs across Glensol’s projects to ensure financial discipline and project profitability. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, procurement teams, and operations departments to track expenditures, forecast budgets, and provide accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Analyze cost variances and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
Collaborate with project, procurement, and operations teams to align budgetary requirements with ongoing activities.
Maintain accurate cost tracking systems to support audits, reporting, and project evaluations.
Identify potential cost overruns, provide recommendations, and implement corrective measures to optimize project financial performance.
Support management in financial planning, risk assessment, and decision-making processes related to project costs.

This position is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, analytically strong, and capable of handling multiple financial tasks while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or project accounting, preferably within the energy or industrial sector.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to manage financial records, budgets, and reporting systems efficiently.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; Russian language skills are considered an asset.
