Job Description
The Deputy Manager – Electrical will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in the processing unit. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership to ensure minimal downtime of machinery, reliable operation of equipment, and continuous improvement in the plant’s electrical systems. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth production workflows while ensuring safety standards are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on electrical machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Assisting in the installation of new electrical systems and upgrading existing ones for enhanced machine performance.
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repair tasks.
- Coordinating machine downtime with other departments to minimize disruption.
- Monitoring and maintaining the compressor LT panel, including fault identification, repairs, and operational checks.
- Inspecting and maintaining power distribution boards inside the plant to ensure safe and reliable circuit performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, B. Tech, or a related field.
- Experience: 10–12 years of proven experience in a textile processing unit.
- Strong knowledge of plant electrical systems, panels, and industrial power distribution.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate with production for smooth operations.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in industrial environments.
