Job Description
The role of Deputy Manager Logistics at Dalda Foods is designed for a highly skilled professional with expertise in managing large-scale logistics operations within the FMCG industry. The position requires a strategic thinker who can ensure efficient vehicle utilization, timely dispatches, and cost-effective operations while managing relationships with logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management & Dispatch: Ensure timely arrangement and dispatch of vehicles for finished goods (FG) stock movement from the Karachi factory to regional warehouses and distributors across Pakistan.
- Inbound Logistics: Plan and execute inbound logistics of raw oil from Karachi port to the factory in a cost-effective and time-sensitive manner.
- Fleet Supervision: Supervise and manage a large pool of dedicated vehicles, ensuring optimal utilization and availability based on business needs.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including production, warehousing, planning, and sales, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Negotiate, manage, and develop strong relationships with logistics service providers to guarantee service quality, compliance, and performance standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate logistics KPIs, including vehicle utilization, delivery timelines, adherence rates, and cost effectiveness.
- Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering operational performance, costs, and improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all logistics operations are in compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and company policies.

Eligibility Criteria
