Job Description

The Electrical Design Engineer at MASEL will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems that align with client requirements and international standards. This role involves working with design software, preparing schematics, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing single-line diagrams, layouts, and electrical systems for industrial projects.
Preparing electrical drawings, schematics, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) using software tools like AutoCAD and ETAP.
Performing load calculations, cable sizing, and distribution designs to ensure efficiency and safety.
Reviewing vendor documents, specifications, and selecting suitable equipment for project needs.
Ensuring compliance with international codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, and IEEE, along with local regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams to develop integrated project designs.
Providing technical support during the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to installation and commissioning.
Assisting in cost estimation and project planning for the electrical scope.
Maintaining quality and safety standards while meeting project deadlines.
