Job Description
The position of Electrical / Electronics Engineer at United Technical Works Company involves hands-on technical responsibilities across installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvement activities. Engineers will be deployed at project sites in Dammam, Jeddah, Jazan, or Tabuk, depending on operational requirements and candidate preference.
Selected engineers will be responsible for the design review, installation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems. This includes power distribution systems, control panels, electrical circuits, electronic devices, and associated components used in industrial and commercial applications. Engineers will ensure that all systems are installed and operated according to approved drawings, technical standards, and safety regulations.
A major part of the role involves troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. Engineers must be able to identify electrical and electronic issues efficiently, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore system functionality. This requires a strong understanding of electrical circuits, electronic components, and system behavior under various operating conditions.
Engineers will also be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This includes preparing maintenance schedules, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring equipment reliability. Proper maintenance practices help reduce downtime and extend equipment life, making this role critical to overall project success.
Compliance is a key responsibility. Engineers must ensure that all work meets Saudi safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies. Safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to permit systems are mandatory on all sites.
Collaboration is another core aspect of the role. Electrical and Electronics Engineers will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, technicians, and other engineering disciplines. Clear communication and coordination are essential to complete tasks efficiently and within project timelines.
Engineers are also required to prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation related to system performance and completed work. Accurate documentation supports audits, future maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
In addition to daily operational duties, engineers are encouraged to support continuous improvement by identifying areas where processes, systems, or methods can be improved. This may include suggesting better maintenance practices, improved installation methods, or safer working procedures.
Working hours are eight hours per day with a six-day work week. The role provides steady technical exposure, structured responsibilities, and opportunities to develop strong field experience across multiple regions of Saudi Arabia.
