Job Description

The Electrical Engineer (Solar Design & Site Engineer) role at United Energy is a highly dynamic position involving both technical design and on-site implementation. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, supervising, and commissioning solar power projects across Pakistan.

The engineer will be responsible for developing detailed solar PV system layouts using professional software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Helioscope, and PVsyst. They will prepare comprehensive project documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and technical drawings. A solid understanding of electrical schematics, inverter selection, and protection systems is essential for this role.

One of the primary responsibilities includes conducting site surveys to assess system feasibility, shadow analysis, and installation conditions. Based on these assessments, the engineer will design optimized solar system configurations that ensure maximum energy yield and efficiency.

The position also involves supervising installation teams during on-site construction and commissioning. The engineer will oversee the installation of solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components, ensuring that all systems are installed in compliance with design parameters and safety regulations.

Post-installation, the engineer will be responsible for testing, inverter commissioning, and troubleshooting. They will analyze system performance, diagnose faults, and ensure that each system operates at its designed capacity.
