Position Overview
Alfanar Projects is currently hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer – Testing & Commissioning to support its growing portfolio of power system and substation projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical systems and substation commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment,nt including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
- Conduct testing of substation components, including CTs, VTs, circuit breakers, busbars, and associated systems.s
- Review, verify, and approve technical documents, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.s
- Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, test results, and system performance documentati.on
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely, safe, and efficient commissioning execution.ion
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- SEC approval or prior experience with SEC projects is preferred
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection relays, and high-voltage equipment
- Proven experience with substation testing methodologies and commissioning procedures
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and risk assessment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
