Over the years, Volka Food International has built its reputation on consistency, hygiene, and responsible manufacturing practices, making it a trusted brand among consumers and business partners alike.
The foundation of Volka Food International rests on a clear understanding that food manufacturing is not only about production volume, but also about safety, quality, and reliability. The company follows strict hygiene protocols, advanced processing methods, and structured quality inspection systems to ensure that every product leaving its facility meets defined standards. These systems are supported by modern laboratories, technical teams, and continuous improvement practices that align with international benchmarks.
Volka Food International invests heavily in technology and automation to maintain efficiency across its production lines. This includes modern control systems, automated packaging lines, quality testing equipment, and integrated plant operations. This vision drives investment in people, processes, and infrastructure.
From a mission perspective, Volka Food International places strong emphasis on delivering quality through disciplined processes. Each stage of production undergoes monitoring, testing, and verification to ensure safety and performance. The presence of advanced laboratory facilities allows real-time analysis of raw materials and finished products. This approach ensures that quality is built into the process rather than inspected at the end.
Beyond manufacturing, Volka Food International maintains a strong commitment to employee welfare and social responsibility. The company provides regular meals, healthcare facilities, accommodation support during emergencies, and consistently to community development initiatives. Job Description
The position of Engineer Automation at Volka Food International is a technical and operational role focused on maintaining, improving, and supporting automated systems within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automation systems across production lines, utilities, and supporting processes at the Multan facility.
The role requires hands-on involvement with industrial automation systems used in food manufacturing. This includes PLC-based control systems, sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, motors, control panels, and instrumentation connected to production machinery. The engineer will ensure these systems operate reliably to support uninterrupted production schedules.
A key responsibility of the Automation Engineer is troubleshooting automation-related breakdowns. When faults occur in control systems or automated equipment, the engineer must identify root causes, restore system functionality, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. This requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems used in FMCG plants.
Preventive maintenance is a major part of the role. The engineer will develop and follow preventive maintenance plans for automation equipment to reduce unexpected downtime. Regular inspections, calibration checks, and system testing are essential to maintain production efficiency and product consistency.
The Automation Engineer will also play a role in optimizing production processes. By analyzing automation performance, downtime data, and system behavior, the engineer can suggest improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve machine reliability. These improvements contribute directly to production targets and cost control.
Coordination with production, quality, and maintenance teams is a daily requirement. The Automation Engineer must communicate clearly with operators and supervisors to ensure that automation systems support production needs while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Documentation is another important responsibility. The engineer will maintain records related to automation systems, including wiring diagrams, system configurations, maintenance logs, and modification records. Accurate documentation supports audits, troubleshooting, and future upgrades.
Safety compliance is non-negotiable. The Automation Engineer must ensure all automation work complies with electrical safety standards, plant safety procedures, and food industry regulations. Safe isolation practices, lock-out procedures, and proper risk assessments must be followed at all times.
The role requires the ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment where downtime directly impacts production. Engineers must be responsive, disciplined, and capable of making sound technical decisions during critical situations.
Overall, the Engineer Automation role at Volka Food International offers exposure to modern FMCG automation systems, structured processes, and a professional manufacturing environment where engineering performance directly influences product quality and operational success.
