2. Job Description
Sofstica Solutions is actively hiring for three positions at its Karachi-based office. These roles offer hands-on experience, challenging work, and a chance to grow with a company that’s deeply involved in software development, product management, and AI innovation.
1. Product Owner (PO)
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for guiding the direction of our digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and quality assurance, to ensure the product vision is clearly understood and effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage product backlogs and prioritize features
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Deliver clear documentation and ensure team alignment with goals
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback for improvement
- Ensure timely delivery of product releases based on defined roadmaps
2. Junior SQA Engineer
As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll be part of our QA team ensuring that all software releases meet our internal quality standards. This is an ideal role for fresh graduates or early-career professionals with an interest in software testing and quality processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test cases
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Log and track bugs using relevant tools
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues
- Maintain testing documentation and reports
- Participate in sprint reviews and QA planning sessions
3. AI Engineer
As an AI Engineer, you’ll contribute to the design and development of artificial intelligence models and data-driven solutions. You’ll work closely with developers and data scientists to build intelligent features into products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models
- Work with datasets to clean, structure, and analyze data
- Optimize AI algorithms for performance and scalability
- Collaborate on product features that use AI technologies
- Document model behavior and results for evaluation
- Stay current with AI trends, tools, and research
Across all roles, we look for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently when required. These are full-time positions based on-site at our Karachi office. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where learning and experimentation are encouraged, and your voice will be heard during team discussions.
We operate on a five-day workweek, Monday to Friday, with a morning shift. Our office on Shahrah-e-Faisal is easily accessible and offers a focused workspace where your efforts are noticed and appreciated.

3. Eligibility Criteria
Sofstica Solutions welcomes applicants who are enthusiastic, technically sound, and committed to developing their skills. Each position has its own specific set of qualifications, but a shared sense of ownership and willingness to learn is essential across the board.
Product Owner:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Previous experience in product management or as a business analyst is preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and align teams with product goals
Junior SQA Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
- Good analytical and observational skills
- No prior experience required, but internships or projects in testing are a plus
AI Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant field
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles
- Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
- Ability to work with data preprocessing and model evaluation
- Experience with projects or research work related to AI is desirable
