Job Description
The Frontend Developer Internship at Ascella InfoSec is a 6-month remote opportunity where selected interns will work as individual contributors on various web development projects. This role requires hands-on experience in frontend technologies and frameworks, enabling candidates to strengthen their skills while contributing meaningfully to real-world applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing responsive web pages using React.js and Next.js.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Building pixel-perfect UI using HTML and CSS aligned with client requirements.
- Collaborating remotely with mentors and senior developers for guidance and code reviews.
- Working independently to manage assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Ensuring compatibility, performance, and user experience across browsers and devices.
Interns will gain valuable exposure to professional coding practices, Git-based collaboration, project deployment, and real-world product development. Outstanding performers may also be offered a full-time role at the end of the internship.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this internship, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in React.js and Next.js.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- A strong portfolio of personal, academic, or freelance projects (GitHub/Portfolio links preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and coding skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn, adapt, and grow in a professional environment.
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Previous internship or freelance experience.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and UI/UX basics.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

This is a remote internship, allowing candidates to work from home with flexibility while collaborating online with the team.

- 6 Months (Remote) with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time permanent role based on performance.
