Job Offering Company Introduction

ACT Group is a professionally managed industrial organization operating in Pakistan’s manufacturing sector with a focus on structured processes, disciplined operations, and long-term value creation. Over the years, the group has steadily developed its presence across production-driven environments where safety, consistency, and quality control remain central to operations. The organization believes that sustainable manufacturing begins with strong technical teams, reliable systems, and continuous improvement at every operational level.

ACT Group has built its production framework around efficiency, compliance, and responsibility. Its manufacturing facilities are designed to support modern industrial processes while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and operational standards. The Nooriabad Plant is one of the group’s key operational units, supporting large-scale production activities and serving as a learning hub for young engineers entering the industrial workforce.

The company places a strong emphasis on developing early-career professionals by providing structured learning opportunities within a real manufacturing environment. Rather than limiting fresh graduates to observational roles, ACT Group encourages hands-on involvement under proper supervision. This approach enables trainees to understand actual production challenges, process controls, safety practices, and team coordination at the plant level.

ACT Group values discipline, technical curiosity, and responsibility. The organization believes that fresh engineering graduates become productive professionals when allowed to work closely with experienced engineers, production teams, and operational leadership. As a result, the group has consistently invested in training-oriented roles that allow graduates to grow step by step within the organization.

With expanding production requirements at its Nooriabad Plant, ACT Group is now hiring Graduate Trainee Engineers – Production from a Chemical Engineering background. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want to start their careers in industrial manufacturing and are willing to learn plant operations through real exposure rather than classroom-based assumptions.

Job Description

The Graduate Trainee Engineer – Production position is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on exposure to chemical manufacturing operations. The selected trainee will work within the Production Department and support day-to-day plant activities under the supervision of senior production and process engineers.

The trainee will assist in monitoring basic production parameters, understanding process flow, and observing how raw materials are transformed into finished products. This includes learning about operational limits, quality requirements, and safe handling of materials used in chemical manufacturing processes.

A key responsibility of the trainee will be to support routine production monitoring activities. This involves observing process conditions, assisting in recording operating data, and understanding how deviations in parameters can affect output quality and plant efficiency. The trainee will gradually learn how engineers identify process issues and take corrective actions within approved procedures.

The role also includes maintaining basic production documentation. The trainee will assist in updating daily production logs, shift reports, and simple operational records. These activities are essential for traceability, performance analysis, and regulatory compliance, and they help trainees understand how documentation supports manufacturing decisions.

Coordination with cross-functional teams is another important aspect of this role. The trainee will interact with maintenance staff, quality teams, safety officers, and senior production engineers. This exposure helps develop an understanding of how multiple departments work together to ensure smooth plant operations.

Industrial safety is a core learning component of the role. The trainee will be introduced to plant safety protocols, personal protective equipment requirements, emergency response procedures, and standard operating practices. Learning safety culture at an early stage is critical for long-term success in chemical manufacturing.

As the trainee progresses, they will gain exposure to process optimization concepts, production efficiency discussions, and basic troubleshooting activities. All learning and operational involvement will take place under direct supervision, ensuring safety and technical accuracy at every stage.

Eligibility Criteria
