Job Description
The HSE Engineer/Inspector will play a key role in supervising health, safety, and environmental aspects during the installation and commissioning phase of component mounting systems at KAEC. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international HSE standards and company policies, identifying risks, and ensuring that preventive measures are implemented effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting on-site safety inspections throughout installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Monitoring work practices and identifying unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Coordinating with contractors and site teams to maintain safety protocols.
- Reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and safety plans.
- Preparing and submitting daily or weekly safety reports to management.
- Providing safety training or toolbox talks to ensure all workers are aware of potential hazards.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for HSE-related matters during the project.
