We are currently hiring for the role of IE Executive (Industrial Engineering Executive) to join our team in Gujrat. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who want to play a key role in improving manufacturing efficiency, workforce development, and project execution within a leading tyre manufacturing company.
2. Job Description
The IE Executive will be responsible for establishing and managing Industrial Engineering functions at the Gujrat plant. This role involves applying industrial engineering principles to improve productivity, optimize operations, and streamline manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be expected to evaluate systems, train staff, validate standards, and support cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing IE Functions:
Develop and implement industrial engineering frameworks for the production floor. Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support performance benchmarking initiatives. - Training and Development:
Lead workforce development efforts by conducting technical training sessions for shop-floor workers and supervisory staff. Ensure employees understand best practices in operations, safety, and process efficiency. - Capacity Analysis & SAM Validation:
Analyze existing production capacity, workflow, and machine utilization. Validate Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) for various processes and suggest necessary rate revisions for accurate planning and labor management. - Production Planning & Resource Allocation:
Evaluate and support the Production Planning and Control (PPC) process. Ensure optimal use of machinery, manpower, and material resources across production units. Assist in minimizing waste and reducing production costs. - Monitoring Development Projects:
Track ongoing development and improvement projects, prepare reports, and assist in the timely completion of project milestones. Ensure alignment with company goals and operational priorities. - Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain records of time studies, performance evaluations, and project analysis. Prepare reports and dashboards for departmental reviews and senior management presentations. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, HR, and production departments to create a unified approach toward operational excellence and employee efficiency.
This is a performance-based role that offers the opportunity to contribute to Servis Tyres’ modernization and operational transformation efforts. The selected candidate will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager and work alongside professionals from engineering and planning departments.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this position, candidates must meet the following academic, professional, and personal requirements:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
- Preference will be given to candidates with coursework or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant industrial engineering experience, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry
- Experience in time and motion studies, production planning, and lean system implementation is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Excel-based analysis tools, and process optimization software will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and process improvement tools
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with teams across all levels
- Ability to conduct training and mentoring sessions for technical and non-technical staff
- Proactive, organized, and results-driven personality
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with a dynamic and fast-paced workload
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for operational excellence

This role is based at Servis Tyres’ production facility in Gujrat and requires regular interaction with shop floor teams, engineering departments, and support functions.
