Job Description

The role of Industrial Automation DCS/SCADA Engineer at Team Engineering Pakistan is central to the successful operation of client industries that rely heavily on process automation and control systems. Engineers in this position will be expected to provide expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, testing, and maintenance of automation systems, ensuring smooth and reliable industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming and Configuration:
Work with a range of PLC systems, including Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, and S7-1500, as well as Mitsubishi, Fatek, and Delta PLCs. Engineers will be expected to develop, test, and modify PLC programs to suit industrial processes.
SCADA Development:
Design, configure, and deploy SCADA software such as Siemens WinCC or similar platforms. This includes developing user-friendly interfaces, monitoring dashboards, alarms, and reports that allow operators to efficiently supervise industrial processes.
DCS Integration:
Support in the integration of DCS systems, ensuring real-time control and monitoring of complex industrial processes.
VFD Installation and Maintenance:
Work with ABB, Siemens, and Delta VFDs to control motor speeds, optimize energy usage, and improve system reliability.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide on-site troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues. Quick problem-solving skills are essential to minimize downtime.
Project Execution:
Participate in project planning, execution, and commissioning phases, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Documentation and Reporting:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background

A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline.

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500).

Strong knowledge of SCADA systems such as Siemens WinCC or similar software.
Practical experience in working with VFDs from ABB, Siemens, and Delta.

Experience

While fresh graduates may apply, preference will be given to candidates with at least 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, process control, or maintenance.
