Job Description
The role of Industrial Automation Engineer involves developing, programming, and testing automation systems using Siemens platforms. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to deliver complete control solutions for warehouses and logistics systems. From creating HMI interfaces to supporting on-site commissioning, this is a hands-on role suited for engineers who enjoy solving practical problems.
Responsibilities include:

Programming automation systems using Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500)

Designing HMI/SCADA systems with WinCC and Ignition

Supporting PLC setup, troubleshooting, and deployment

Collaborating with engineering teams across disciplines

Preparing project documentation (I/O lists, functional specs, FAT/SAT reports)

Providing support during system startups or maintenance phases
Eligibility Criteria
Education & Experience:
-
2–4 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation

Solid experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal

Proficient in WinCC HMI and Ignition SCADA
-
Understanding of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, Modbus TCP, etc.)
Skills Required:

Ability to read and understand electrical/control schematics

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Willingness to travel for commissioning or support
Preferred but not mandatory:

Experience with Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, or material handling systems

Familiarity with SIL systems or safety programming

Background in scripting (Python, JavaScript, SQL)

Knowledge of EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
