Job Description
The Junior Inspection Engineer (Lifting Equipment) position at SkillSafe Training and Inspection Services is a technically demanding and highly responsible role. The engineer will be directly involved in the inspection, safety assessment, and certification of lifting equipment, pressure systems, scaffolding, and related industrial components. This work ensures that all equipment used in client operations meets strict safety and regulatory requirements, minimizing the risk of accidents and operational failures.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting Technical Inspections
- Perform thorough inspections of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, winches, and lifting accessories to verify structural integrity and operational safety.
- Inspect pressure equipment including pressure vessels, boilers, pipelines, and other systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
- Carry out scaffolding inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and structural stability standards.
- Delivering HSE Trainings
- Develop and deliver safety training sessions for client teams, focusing on hazard awareness, safe equipment operation, and emergency response.
- Ensure that training is engaging, practical, and compliant with industry best practices and applicable laws.
- Compliance and Safety Assurance
- Verify that all inspected equipment meets the safety standards outlined by UAE regulations, LEEA guidelines, and international safety bodies.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions when equipment fails to meet standards.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed technical inspection reports, highlighting equipment conditions, defects, and recommendations for maintenance or repair.
- Maintain accurate inspection records for regulatory compliance and internal quality management purposes.
- Collaboration and Teamwork

Eligibility Criteria
