This role is targeted at professionals with at least four years of experience in industrial maintenance, particularly those familiar with PLCs, drives, and automated systems. Job Description
The Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Automation will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of Arabian Packaging’s electrical and automation systems. The role includes preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, automation equipment, and machinery to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Conduct corrective and breakdown maintenance as needed, ensuring timely repairs and minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, including Siemens S7-300/400, Allen-Bradley, and Beckhoff systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical drives, such as Lenze, Master Drive, Baumüller, and Elua, using specialized software tools.
- Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics, technical manuals, and machine specifications accurately.
- Support the design, modification, and maintenance of electrical control panels, liaising with OEMs as required.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure machines operate efficiently and safely.
- Identify potential improvements in maintenance practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, and documentation for audits and operational analysis.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training programs to maintain a safe working environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in electrical and automation maintenance, ideally within the corrugated or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise with PLCs (Siemens S7-300/400, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff).
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial drives (Lenze, Master Drive, Baumüller, Elua).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
- Other Skills:
