Job Description: Management Trainee – Human Resources
The Management Trainee – Human Resources position at Habib Oil Mills (Pvt) Ltd. is an entry-level role designed to groom young HR professionals into future leaders in human capital management. As part of the trainee program, selected candidates will go through a structured development journey that includes on-the-job training, cross-functional projects, mentorship from senior HR leaders, and real-time exposure to the company’s core people processes.
Core Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Selection:
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes including screening resumes, conducting telephonic interviews, scheduling assessments, and coordinating final interviews.
- Support the HR team in developing candidate databases and talent pipelines for future hiring.
- Collaborate with line managers to understand departmental manpower needs.
2. Onboarding & Orientation:
- Coordinate the employee onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Prepare orientation materials, conduct induction sessions, and facilitate integration of new team members into the organization.
3. Employee Engagement:
- Participate in planning and organizing employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and town halls.
- Assist in conducting employee surveys and analyzing feedback to improve workplace culture.
4. HR Operations:
- Maintain and update HRMIS (Human Resource Management Information Systems).
- Assist in maintaining employee records and personal files, ensuring documentation compliance.
- Contribute to data analysis for reports related to headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
5. Learning & Development:
- Support the L&D function in identifying training needs and organizing learning sessions for employees.
- Help track attendance, feedback, and training evaluation metrics.
6. Policy Compliance:
- Ensure HR activities are conducted in alignment with company policies and labor laws.
- Participate in audits and documentation reviews as needed.
7. Performance Management:
- Assist in data collection and communication of performance appraisal cycles.
- Provide support to line managers and employees during goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
8. Special Projects:
- Work on department-wide or cross-functional projects assigned by the HR leadership.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for project status updates.

Eligibility Criteria
