Job Description

The Management Trainee Officer (Electrical & Mechanical) position at PETPAK Films (Pvt.) Limited is designed for fresh DAE graduates who are eager to begin their professional journey in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role provides extensive exposure to plant operations, electrical systems, machinery maintenance, and production support functions.

As an MTO, selected candidates will work under the guidance of senior engineers and supervisors in either the Electrical or Mechanical department, depending on their academic specialization. They will participate in structured training sessions, project assignments, and on-the-job rotations that cover various aspects of manufacturing, including operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and process optimization.

Key responsibilities of the Management Trainee Officer include:

  • Assisting engineers in the day-to-day maintenance and operation of machinery and plant equipment.
  • Learning about preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth and continuous production operations.
  • Supporting the team in fault diagnosis, system calibration, and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Gaining knowledge of automation systems, power distribution, and production control equipment.
  • Assisting in technical documentation, equipment inventory, and maintenance records.
  • Participating in safety audits, plant inspections, and quality assurance activities.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Learning to interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical layouts, and process schematics.

The company provides a Pick & Drop facility on specific routes, ensuring that employees can commute safely and conveniently to the Sheikhupura plant.

The Management Trainee program typically lasts for a fixed period, during which the candidate’s performance and learning progress are continuously evaluated. Exceptional performers may be considered for permanent positions within the company upon successful completion of the program.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the Management Trainee Officer – Electrical & Mechanical role must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for the program:

Educational Qualification:

  • DAE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Candidates currently awaiting final semester results may also be considered, provided they submit their mark sheet upon completion.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
