2. Job Description
The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Electrical Engineering role at Bilal Switchgear is designed for early-career professionals who want to gain structured, cross-functional experience within the electrical industry.
Key Features of the Program:
- Structured On-the-Job Training: You will work closely with experienced engineers and mentors who will guide your learning across multiple technical functions.
- Rotational Assignments: As part of your training, you will be rotated through core departments including:
- Switchgear Design & Engineering
- Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Project Execution and Site Services
- Product Testing and Technical Documentation
- Real-Time Exposure: You’ll work on actual client projects, gain insight into industry requirements, and contribute to critical stages of the production and delivery lifecycle.
- Evaluation and Growth: High-performing MTOs will be considered for permanent roles with structured career paths and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with electrical system design, calculations, and technical drawings
- Support QA teams in inspection and testing of switchgear assemblies
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical panels
- Prepare and maintain engineering reports, documentation, and compliance records
- Learn company standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements
- Collaborate with different teams for smooth project execution
- Attend client meetings and contribute to solution development where appropriate
This program will challenge you to apply your academic knowledge, develop hands-on technical skills, and understand how large-scale electrical systems are engineered and delivered.
3. Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for motivated and career-focused engineering graduates who meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BE) from a recognized university
Experience:
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are eligible to apply
- Prior internships or project experience in the power or switchgear sector will be considered a plus
Technical Competence:
- Basic knowledge of electrical power systems, switchgear components, and industrial automation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) is essential
- Understanding of technical documentation and standards is desirable
