Job Description
The Manager / Assistant Manager – ETP & Water Reclaim will be responsible for managing the operational performance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Water Reclaim Plant to ensure compliance, efficiency, and sustainability. The position involves leading a technical team, optimizing processes, and ensuring that water recovery, energy consumption, and maintenance activities align with organizational standards and environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ETP operations to ensure full compliance with National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQs).
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant equipment and systems.
- Maintain reclaim plant recovery rates as per design and operational targets.
- Supervise wastewater treatment processes and ensure proper waste disposal according to environmental guidelines.
- Ensure continuous availability of essential chemicals, consumables, and spare parts.
- Monitor and optimize energy use, supporting the company’s energy conservation initiatives.
- Address and resolve any service or performance complaints in a timely manner.
- Lead and execute technical improvement projects to enhance process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage inventory and ensure timely procurement of critical components and materials.
- Analyze budget variances and monitor operational expenditures for cost control.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and social standards across all plant operations.
- Maintain accurate records of plant performance, quality control, and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Production, Maintenance, and Environment teams, to achieve sustainable operational excellence.
- Prepare detailed reports on treatment efficiency, equipment performance, and environmental audits.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position of Manager / Assistant Manager – ETP & Water Reclaim at Feroze1888 Mills Limited, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- B.E / BS / B-Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in ETP / wastewater treatment operations or textile manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of wastewater treatment processes, biological treatment systems, and water reclaim technologies.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning and inventory management.
- Familiarity with NEQs (National Environmental Quality Standards) and ISO documentation related to environmental management.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools and control systems related to plant operations.
- Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and compliance frameworks.
