Position: Manager Audit
Department: Internal Audit & Compliance
Location: Jaranwala Road, Dhudiwala, Faisalabad
The National Silk & Rayon Mills Ltd is seeking a skilled Manager Audit to oversee internal audits, risk assessments, control evaluations, and compliance functions. The role demands a proactive professional with deep knowledge of audit standards, ERP systems, and regulatory requirements who can collaborate with department heads and executive management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on business operations, financial controls, and internal systems
- Identify potential gaps or non-compliance with internal policies or external regulations
- Design and implement robust internal audit plans and test procedures for operational, financial, and compliance audits
- Recommend improvements in internal control structures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data collection mechanisms
- Monitor and enhance cost reporting systems to ensure data integrity and efficiency
- Leverage ERP systems and audit tools to conduct thorough and technology-driven audits
- Present detailed audit reports to senior management, including recommendations and corrective action plans
- Follow up on past audits to ensure corrective actions have been implemented effectively
- Maintain documentation in compliance with professional standards and internal policies
- Train, guide, and support audit assistants or junior auditors when required
Work Environment & Reporting Line:
- Reports directly to: CFO / Senior Management
- Cross-functional interaction with finance, operations, procurement, and HR
- Office-based, with possible site visits across facilities in Faisalabad
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timely completion of audit cycles and adherence to annual audit plans
- Reduction in non-compliance incidents and financial discrepancies
- Improved control environments and audit readiness across departments
- Effective communication and collaboration with department heads
3. Eligibility Criteria
Education Requirements:
- ACCA qualified / CMA / CA Inter (with completed articleship)
- Additional certifications (CIA, CISA, etc.) will be considered a plus
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in internal auditing or compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or textile company
- Proven experience developing and executing audit programs independently
- Prior experience with cost accounting controls, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and audit tools
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial controls, internal auditing standards, and risk-based audit methodologies
- Familiarity with cost reporting and control systems in a manufacturing setup
- Proficiency in ERP software, Excel, and data analytics tools
- Capability to design and implement internal control improvements
- Ability to work across departments and assess multi-functional business risks
Soft Skills & Traits:
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with top management
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
