Job Description

The Manager of Engineering will lead the plant engineering, utilities, and maintenance functions at the Dairy Plant in Bhalwal.

The role requires oversight of all engineering operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This includes mechanical, electrical, and utility systems that support production lines.

One of the primary responsibilities is ensuring uninterrupted utilities. Dairy plants rely on continuous availability of steam, chilled water, electricity, compressed air, and refrigeration systems. The manager must establish preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to avoid unexpected breakdowns.

Asset reliability management forms a significant part of the job. The Manager of Engineering will develop maintenance schedules, monitor equipment health indicators, and conduct root cause analysis in case of repeated failures.

The position involves managing Engineering and Utilities operational expenditure and capital expenditure budgets. Financial discipline is required to control maintenance costs while ensuring equipment reliability.
