Job Description
The Manager Maintenance is responsible for overseeing all plant maintenance operations at UTM Pakistan, ensuring that production machinery and infrastructure perform efficiently and reliably. The role is highly strategic, combining leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to maintain continuous plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs related to equipment uptime, maintenance efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Equipment and Systems Oversight:
- Manage maintenance activities for utilities, packaging lines, and automation systems across the plant.
- Ensure optimal operation of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery and control systems.
- TPM & Lean Manufacturing Implementation:
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles to enhance equipment reliability.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and optimize production workflows.
- Conduct audits and performance assessments to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Maintenance Management Systems:
- Oversee the implementation of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine history, and spare parts inventory.
- Prepare and present maintenance reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
- Team Development and Mentorship:
- Coach and mentor maintenance staff, promoting skill development and technical expertise.
- Foster a culture of safety, discipline, and accountability across the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering departments to resolve technical issues promptly.

Eligibility Criteria
