Job Description
The long-term Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi is seeking highly experienced commissioning engineers and supervisors across multiple disciplines. These positions involve overseeing, coordinating, and executing commissioning and completion activities to ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and according to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead commissioning activities for assigned disciplines, including Process, Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation systems.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate teams of engineers, technicians, and field personnel.
- Review technical documentation, P&IDs, system drawings, and procedures to ensure readiness for commissioning.
- Perform risk assessments, develop action plans, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Manage troubleshooting, testing, and functional verification of systems.
- Monitor project schedules and coordinate with project management teams to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all equipment and systems comply with quality standards and client specifications.
- Document commissioning activities, prepare reports, and submit progress updates to senior management.
- Participate in handover processes, ensuring operational readiness and smooth transition to the operations team.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering relevant to the role: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas commissioning projects.
- Proven track record in leading or supervising commissioning activities.
- Hands-on knowledge of commissioning methodologies, testing procedures, and system integration.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical expertise in assigned discipline (Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation).
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective coordination with international teams.
- Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of international codes, standards, and best practices in Oil & Gas commissioning.
Nationality Preference:
- Applicants from Azerbaijan are preferred, though other nationalities with suitable experience will be considered.
