Job Description

Gizmologix (Pty) Ltd is hiring professionals for multiple engineering and technical positions, including PLC Programmers, Robot Programmers, and Skilled Trades professionals such as Toolmakers, Electricians, and Pipefitters. These roles are designed for individuals with proven technical capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments.

As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining control systems using platforms like Rockwell, Siemens, and Omron. The role involves working with automation hardware and software to ensure smooth production processes. You will troubleshoot existing systems, modify control logic when needed, and collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate new systems seamlessly.

For Robot Programmers, the focus will be on developing, testing, and optimizing robotic systems using Fanuc and Motoman platforms. You will work on robotic cell programming, motion path creation, cycle time optimization, and fault recovery processes. This position demands strong analytical skills, the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and the confidence to work on high-precision systems in international facilities.
