2. Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Key duties include:
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving system faults and alarms
- Maintaining detailed logs of system performance, downtime, and maintenance
- Replacing faulty components (e.g., inverters, modules, fuses)
- Coordinating with DEWA for compliance and inspections
- Ensuring alignment with DEWA’s Shams initiative
3. Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in solar PV operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of DEWA/Shams regulations and grid compliance
- Strong troubleshooting and system fault detection skills
- Valid UAE driving license
- DEWA O&M certification (preferred)
